Sale of Polish frozen food

Springfield – The Immaculate Conception Church, 25 Parker St., in the Indian Orchard section will be hosting a Polish frozen food sale on Saturday, June 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring pieorogi, golabki, and kapusta. Everyone is welcome.

Strawberry Supper at Agawam Congregational Church

Agawam – Agawam Congregational Church, announces that after a two-year hiatus, they will again be hosting a seated Strawberry Supper on Saturday, June 18 at 5 p.m. at Bryan Hall. Dinner will be roast pork with fingerling potatoes and green bean almonds and strawberry shortcake. Take-out orders are available for pre-order only. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children, on sale now at the Agawam Congregational Church office, Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Call 413-786-7111 for more information. Scholarship Dinner

Longmeadow – Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy, 1148 Converse St., will host a scholarship dinner on Wednesday, June 29 at LYA. The reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a buffet by Yosi Kosher Catering. LYA is proud to honor Ryan Ascher and Robert Zimmerman. Together they have run Ascher-Zimmerman Funeral Home, Inc. since 2006 when Ryan’s father retired. Ascher-Zimmerman was opened in 1954 by Ryan’s grandparents, Harold and Jeanette Ascher, to serve the Pioneer Valley Jewish community. LYA will reward Patrick Azoulay with the Pillar of the Torah award. Patrick Azoulay’s three children, Tehila, Naama and Zohar, attended LYA in the 80s and 90s. The cost to attend is $118 and you can RSVP at info@lya.org by June 21. LYA will publish a publicity book for the scholarship dinner. roast pork dinner

Northampton – St. Valentine’s Polish National Catholic Church, 127 King St. will host a Pork Roast Dinner on Sunday, June 26 at noon in the Parish Hall. The cost is $18 for adults, $7 for children under 12. The menu consists of roast pork, mashed potatoes, stuffing, sauce, buttered vegetables, rolls/butter, coffee/tea/milk and dessert. Additional worship time

AGAWAM – St. John the Evangelist Church, 833 Main St. announces extra time for worship each month. On the occasion of the “Year of the Eucharist”, an initiative of the Diocese of Springfield. On the first Fridays, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., mass precedes adoration at 8 a.m. Any Catholic interested in registering for a First Friday Worship Hour can register in the church vestibule. third Thursday, 7 to 9 p.m.; Wednesday, every week, from noon to 5:45 p.m., Holy Mass takes place at 6 p.m. “The Year of the Eucharist” is an initiative of the Diocese of Springfield to inspire and cultivate a deeper understanding and practice of the real presence of the Eucharist. Free weekly lunch for veterans

Easthampton – The Baha’i Community of Western Mass./Southern Vt. invites everyone to its regular online devotional programs as follows: Weekly Sunday Devotions via Zoom at 11:30 a.m. every Sunday morning, hosted by local communities, including the Baha’is of Easthampton and others on an alternating basis.
