This program was recently reinstated by the U.S. EPA Region 9. Funding is from a General Assistance Program (GAP) grant from the EPA Region 9 Indian Programs.
The GAP funding will provide the Tribe with developing a Solid Waste Grant, Clean Water and Air Grant, Inventory of dump sites, along with development of a long range plan to address these issues.
The Tribe was also successful in obtaining a Solid Waste Grant to hire consultant services to develop a long range solid waste plan. The Tribe was awarded a 106 and 319 Water Quality Grant effective July 1, 2008 and a DITCA Grant which will begin October 1, 2008
