Purpose and responsibilities of the Natural Resources Committee:
Protection of all cultural and religious sites within the CTGR aboriginal roaming area.
Work closely with the APHIS Program to be alert for any reports or introduction of animal diseases.
Work and coordinate with local, state and federal agencies regarding proposed projects that involve ground disturbance, proposed projects such as construction of roads, wireless tower construction, solar and wind energy projects, etc.
Respond in writing to inquires involving projects listed in # 3.
Seek funding and grant opportunities for program operation.
Coordination with the states of Utah and Nevada on small and big game issues.
Developing and/or updating the Tribes small and big game management practices/plan.
Big and small game regulations to include publishing an annual hunting proclamation.
Keeping Tribal members appraised of developments regarding cultural and hunting matters.
